Role Overview

Our ski and snowboard app is fully developed but we are looking for someone to enhance our mapping capabilities. We are seeking a skilled Capacitor Plugin Developer to create a cross-platform plugin that seamlessly integrates with both iOS and Android platforms. This plugin should be compatible with our existing React App, or a sample React App, enhancing functionality and ensuring smooth operation across devices. Freelancers would be working off existing code already developed for the web app and that was attempted to developed for iOS/Android.

Responsibilities

• Develop a robust Capacitor Plugin that functions effectively on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Ensure the plugin integrates smoothly with a React App, maintaining performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with the development team to align the plugin's functionality with project requirements.
• Test and debug the plugin to ensure it meets quality standards and operates without issues.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in developing mobile applications for iOS and Android using Capacitor.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and experience with React.
• Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks and tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience in creating plugins or extensions for mobile applications.
• Understanding of cross-platform development challenges and solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize code for performance.
