C# & WPF Developer (GIS Experience Preferred) - Part-time - EU/APAC

About the Role:

Intaero is seeking a mid-level C# developer with WPF expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in desktop application development, preferably within industries such as aeronautics, aviation, or air traffic control software. Knowledge of GIS (Geographical Information Systems) is a significant plus.

We are open to remote candidates in Europe and Asia, with a particular focus on Thailand. Our goal is to transition the role to full-time, with a long-term preference for relocation to Chiang Mai.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain desktop applications using C#, WinForms, and WPF.
• Work with GIS technologies (if applicable) to support mapping and geospatial features.
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness.
• Debug and troubleshoot existing software, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
• Communicate effectively in English, ensuring smooth collaboration with team members.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a C# developer, with expertise in WPF. (WinForms is a big plus)
• Experience developing standalone Windows software and desktop applications.
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Located in Europe or Asia, with at least 4-5 hours of time zone overlap with the team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in aeronautics, aviation, or air traffic control software.
• Knowledge of GIS (Graphical Information Systems) and related technologies.
• Willingness to relocate to Chiang Mai, Thailand in the future.
