Metify is a decentralized platform merging education, professional development, and freelance opportunities through Web3 technologies. Our goal is to build the future of decentralized applications, and we are looking for a Blockchain Engineer to join our team and drive the development of our smart contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy secure Solidity smart contracts for token-based rewards, decentralized governance, and other blockchain functionalities.
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to integrate smart contracts into decentralized applications (dApps).
- Ensure gas optimization and secure coding practices in all smart contract developments.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in the overall architecture and design of smart contract solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in blockchain development.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in writing, testing, and deploying Solidity smart contracts on Ethereum or other EVM-compatible networks.
- Strong understanding of standards like ERC20, ERC721, and ERC1155.
- Hands-on experience with development tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, or Brownie.
- Proficiency in Web3.js, Ethers.js, and smart contract integration with front-end applications.
- Deep understanding of security best practices and gas optimization techniques in Solidity.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Layer 2 scaling solutions or sidechains.
- Knowledge of DeFi protocols, staking, or governance mechanisms.
- Familiarity with other blockchains (e.g., Solana, Avalanche).
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
