Backend Python Developer for Azure Services

Role Overview

Join our team as a Backend Python Developer, where you will be instrumental in advancing our internal platform for a specialty insurance underwriting team. You will manage and enhance two live Azure services, a FastAPI API and a Streamlit web app, encompassing approximately 220k lines of code.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing feature development to improve and expand the capabilities of our Azure services.
• Automate ETL pipelines to streamline data processing and integration.
• Enhance test coverage to ensure robust and reliable system performance.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates across both systems to ensure optimal functionality and security.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Experience with FastAPI and Streamlit frameworks.
• Knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based application deployment.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and automation.
• Ability to write comprehensive tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Nice to Have
