Role Overview

Join our team to enhance Boune, an innovative mobile app providing interactive audio stories for children. Your focus will be on improving voice interactivity and ensuring seamless audio experiences for young users by addressing current limitations and implementing a real-time streaming solution.

Responsibilities

• Resolve the following issue: If a child speaks while the phone speakers are playing the question, the STT technology mixes the child's voice with the narrator's pre-recorded voice.
• Enable background mode support on iOS. This is currently not possible since we need to start recordings multiple times per story.
• Optimize the audio transfer process to minimize loading times and improve user experience.

Required Skills

• Experience with server-side technologies, particularly Django.
• Experience in implementing streamed voice connections between a client and a server
