You will work on developing scalable, modular APIs and improving our multi-tenant architecture while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Your contributions will support our ongoing efforts in integrating advanced AI layers and FHIR-compatible systems.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable and modular APIs to support new product features, including new campaign types, analytics, and A/B testing.
- Enhance multi-tenant architecture to accommodate multiple client plans effectively.
- Strengthen audit logs and data validation with a focus on HIPAA compliance.
- Develop abstractions for message routing logic, including prompt engineering and fallback handling, as part of the AI layer.
- Prepare systems for fine-tuning using synthetic and real member conversations.
- Introduce retrieval-augmented generation for personalized reminders.
- Support FHIR integration by ingesting and sending FHIR-compatible patient records and building connectors for systems like Epic.
- Strengthen Docker containerization and improve CI/CD pipelines for staging and production environments.
- Create automated test suites for unit and integration testing.
- Optimize background task queueing and implement robust logging and monitoring systems.
- Plan and implement usage-based autoscaling for large deployments.
- Ensure data encryption at rest and in transit, implement role-based access control, and handle files in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Django, especially in developing REST APIs and scalable architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, Docker, and AWS deployment pipelines.
- Experience with third-party API integration, with a preference for healthcare-related APIs such as FHIR.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Twilio, OpenAI API, and prompt chaining techniques.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and CMS compliance.
