Backend/Application Security Engineer

Role Overview

RegentDesk is a cutting-edge B2B SaaS web application designed for independent financial advisors to streamline client communication and scheduling. As we approach the beta phase, we are seeking an experienced Backend/Application Security Engineer to perform a comprehensive security review and ensure the system's scalability and robustness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a focused security review of authentication flows, Supabase row-level security, tenant isolation, and OAuth token handling.
• Evaluate API endpoints and data handling procedures to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Deliver a written report with prioritized findings and recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in backend development and application security.
• Expertise in authentication flows, including OAuth token handling.
• Familiarity with Supabase row-level security and tenant isolation.
• Strong understanding of API security and data handling best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with the Next.js stack, including React, Node, and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Supabase/Postgres, Clerk authentication, and Gmail/Microsoft OAuth integrations.
