Role Overview

Join our team as a Back-End Engineer for an exciting fintech project partnered with a banking institution. This role involves developing a secure and scalable backend for a fintech application, focusing on robust API integration, database design, and secure authentication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient back-end services using Node.js and/or Python.
• Create and maintain APIs to enhance front-end capabilities.
• Integrate with external banking and fintech APIs for seamless operation.
• Design and manage databases to handle transactions and user data effectively.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows to protect user data.
• Deliver high-quality, production-ready code efficiently.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience with Node.js and/or Python in production environments.
• Strong background in back-end development within fintech or SaaS industries.
• Expertise in API integration, database design, and authentication processes.
• Ability to work independently and think creatively with minimal guidance.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, Django, or Flask.
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Understanding of authentication protocols like OAuth2 and JWT.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks like Mocha/Chai or PyTest.
