About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled freelance Back-End Developer (Python) to lead the development of core functionality for an AI-powered Slack bot. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team including product designers and other developers to implement robust backend services that integrate Slack APIs with cutting-edge AI tools. This is an opportunity to work on a greenfield project with significant creative and technical input.

Required Skills

• Proven experience with Python in production environments
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Familiarity with Slack APIs and webhooks
• Experience with authentication, session management, and scalable back-end systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team setup
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience integrating with Claude AI or similar LLM platforms
• Familiarity with Cursor (AI coding tools)
• Background in building bots, chat-based tools, or productivity platforms
• Understanding of user-centric design principles for conversational interfaces
