Back End Developer (Node.js, Python) - FT - LATAM, NA, Europe

Roundtable is a cybersecurity company building the proof-of-human layer in digital identity. We develop real-world Turing Tests and productize these innovations for bot detection, fraud prevention, and continuous authentication.

What You'll Work On

This is a technical role focused on building scalable backend infrastructure. Representative projects include:
● Designing and implementing API infrastructure capable of handling millions of requests per minute
● Scaling deployment architecture across multiple regions to meet compliance and data sovereignty requirements
● Building robust automation systems including cron jobs for billing, monitoring, and system maintenance
● Developing high-performance data pipelines for real-time authentication and fraud detection
● Implementing security best practices across all backend services

Who We're Looking For

Required:

● 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production systems at scale
● Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python
● Proven track record of designing fault-tolerant, high-availability systems
● Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
● Understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
● Comfortable working in an ambitious, fast-paced environment where you'll iterate quickly and ship real-world value

Nice to Have:

● Experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.)
● Firebase ecosystem knowledge
● Background in cybersecurity or authentication systems
● Experience working or contracting with large organizations

Contract Details
This is a contract position for 3+ months with potential for extension. The role is fully remote, but
candidates must be available to work during Pacific Time (PT) business hours.
