Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS-savvy Developer to enhance the deployment and staging processes of our Vue.js Progressive Web Application (PWA). The role involves reconnecting our app to AWS and establishing a reliable staging environment to ensure smooth and controlled deployments.

Responsibilities

• Review and re-establish the connection between our Vue.js frontend and AWS backend, ensuring seamless integration.
• Set up a GitHub repository linked to a secure deployment process for both staging and production environments.
• Duplicate the current S3 + CloudFront setup to create a separate, safe staging environment.
• Organize and manage environment variables across local, staging, and production settings.
• Conduct an audit of current dependencies, including Node.js and NPM versions, and implement updates as necessary.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Vue.js and experience in developing and deploying Vue.js applications.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, particularly Cognito, API Gateway, RDS, S3, and CloudFront.
• Experience in setting up and managing GitHub repositories and deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with managing environment variables for different deployment stages.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
• Knowledge of WebView-based Flutter wrappers and their integration with iOS/Android applications.
