AWS Developer - Part-time - Europe

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Freelance AWS Developer to join our project, Three Degrees — Private Home Exchange & Rental Network. This role involves resolving a user authentication issue and providing support for occasional infrastructure tasks. You will work with a live product hosted on AWS, focusing on ensuring seamless user experiences and maintaining data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve issues preventing users from setting passwords within the AWS Cognito User Pool.
• Align frontend validation in the Flutter web app with the current password policy to ensure consistency and functionality.
• Enable the manual setting of temporary passwords for users, including implementing a secure reset flow.
• Ensure continuity and protection of existing user data and sessions during the process.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with AWS, particularly Cognito, IAM, and user authentication flows.
• Proficiency in debugging login and signup issues across AWS and Flutter platforms.
• Ability to work efficiently and communicate clearly, providing well-documented solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and CloudFront.
• Familiarity with the Flutter web app development and deployment processes.
