About the role

We need a small, highly skilled, and trustworthy development team with strong experience in crypto, quantitative trading, and backend engineering—ideally with expertise in Rust and high-frequency trading systems. The team will focus on exploiting arbitrage opportunities across prediction market platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain automated trading bots for arbitrage opportunities, including both execution and risk management logic.
  • Integrate real-time data feeds and order books from multiple prediction market platforms.
  • Develop secure, scalable, and low-latency infrastructure optimized for high-frequency trading.
  • Collaborate with quant researchers and strategy developers to implement proprietary trading strategies.
  • Ensure code quality, robustness, and adherence to security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in backend development with Rust or other high-performance languages.
  • Experience in crypto trading, blockchain-based platforms, or quantitative trading systems.
  • Knowledge of high-frequency trading, market microstructure, and order book dynamics.
  • Ability to work with large-scale, real-time datasets and optimize for low latency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, trustworthiness, and ability to work independently.

Contract Details:

  • Type: Freelance, with potential to convert to full-time.
  • Time zone preference: UK, Europe, or West Coast USA.
  • Hours: Full-time preferred; minimum ~20 hours/week acceptable.
