App Rebranding and Infrastructure Migration Specialist US-PT

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled App Rebranding and Infrastructure Migration Specialist to manage the transition and rebranding of our React Native mobile news app and marketing website. The project involves rebranding the app, migrating infrastructure, and ensuring a seamless handover of the website. You will work with existing code and infrastructure to implement these changes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Rebrand the mobile app, updating its name, icons, splash screens, bundle IDs, URL schemes, in-app strings, and configuration.
• Migrate email services within the Fastify backend from Nodemailer SMTP to Resend.
• Set up AWS infrastructure for a new domain, including Route 53, ACM SSL, Elastic Beanstalk environments, CodeBuild, IAM, S3, and security groups.
• Redeploy and migrate the backend, updating CORS, MongoDB Atlas access, and conducting smoke testing.
• Manage Apple App Store migration, including App Store Connect setup, in-app subscriptions, APNs keys, code signing, TestFlight, and App Store submission.
• Handle Google Play Console migration, involving Play Console setup, subscription configuration, Play App Signing, AAB upload, and production submission.
• Reconfigure RevenueCat for new project linking, entitlements, offerings, and webhook migration.
• Adjust Firebase configurations, including APNs Auth Key, Android setup, configuration file replacement, and service account redeployment.
• Conduct QA and end-to-end testing across iOS and Android platforms.
• Oversee the handover of the B2B marketing website, ensuring all hosting, DNS, and deployment access is transferred and the site remains stable and operational.

Required Skills

• Expertise in React Native / Expo with experience in App Store and Google Play deployment.
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure including Elastic Beanstalk, Route 53, S3, and CodeBuild.
• Familiarity with Strapi, Fastify, MongoDB Atlas, RevenueCat, and Firebase.
• Proven experience in taking over codebases from another developer.
