We are looking for a strategic thinker to join our team as an Amazon Advertising Strategist. You will be responsible for crafting and owning advertising strategies for TESMO's most complex Amazon accounts. This role involves making critical decisions about budget allocation, designing tests, and engaging in client conversations to drive advertising success. You will be empowered to shape the strategy, while execution is managed by dedicated team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage advertising strategies for three to four key accounts, focusing on new and evolving projects.
- Make informed allocation decisions, ensuring budgets are optimally utilized under strict governance protocols.
- Design and analyze tests to gather evidence and make informed strategic decisions.
- Engage in strategic discussions with sophisticated clients, addressing their analytical queries and providing sound reasoning.
- Encode strategic judgments into operational systems, ensuring consistency and scalability.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Amazon advertising strategy beyond campaign management.
- Strong expertise in 3P/Seller Central, with a deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem.
- Ability to navigate advertising decisions influenced by external constraints such as inventory and pricing.
- Strong judgment skills for portfolio allocation decisions.
- Comfort and proficiency in client-facing roles with demanding stakeholders.
- Genuine fluency in working with AI systems as collaborative tools, with the ability to challenge and iterate with them.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in 1P/Vendor Central, understanding vendor advertising mechanics and attribution windows.
- Experience in large CPG environments, whether agency-side or in-house.
- Experience managing multi-brand portfolios.
- Direct experience from the brand side of the table.
