Early Adopters Hub connects innovative accounting tech startups with the world’s most forward-thinking accountants—where the future of accounting tech is made.
We’re launching a venture studio to co-build and pilot practical AI-powered tools with real users, starting with automations for an accountancy firm.
The Opportunity
We’re hunting a hands-on, AI-native developer who thrives on rapid prototyping and automation. You’ll build internal tools and lightweight SaaS experiments, shipping scrappy v1s that solve real problems fast, then iterating with pilots.
What you’ll build (initial focus)
- Small, standalone data-moving and automation tasks (accountancy workflows)
- Internal tools with clear upgrade paths to SaaS
- Rapid prototypes shipped to clients for feedback and paid pilots
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and ship fast using AI-accelerated toolchains
- Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, and OAuth flows; stand up minimal infra
- Write clear docs, lightweight tests, and handover notes for maintainability
- Collaborate async across UK and international partners; demo early, iterate often
Must-Have Skills
- Mandatory: Deep, practical experience with Bolt, Lovable, Replit, and Cursor
- Strong with Claude Code (or equivalent LLM coding agents)
- Fluency in one or more: TypeScript/Node, Python; solid REST/GraphQL
- Proven track record of shipping prototypes to production users in days, not weeks
- Comfortable owning ambiguous 0→1 tasks and making sensible technical tradeoffs
Nice-to-Have
- OAuth, auth flows, and multi-tenant basics
- Experience in accounting/finops data flows, spreadsheets, CSVs, and ETL
- Lightweight front-end (React/Tailwind) for internal UIs
- Prompt engineering and evaluation for code-gen reliability
Tooling & Environment
- AI-native dev stack: Bolt, Lovable, Replit, Cursor, Claude Code
- Typical stack: TypeScript/Node or Python, Postgres, Supabase/Firebase, Vercel/Fly, Zapier/Make, AirTable/Sheets
