AI Integration Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled AI Integration Engineer to enhance and customize our Retell AI Voice Agent, ensuring seamless integration with Workiz CRM. Our appliance repair business requires an advanced AI solution to improve customer interactions with natural-sounding voice responses and efficient backend processes.

Responsibilities

• Replace Retell AI's default voice engine with a premium, low-latency Text-to-Speech engine like ElevenLabs to achieve natural human-like tones and handle diverse accents.
• Develop custom API connections and webhooks to integrate the Retell AI Voice Agent with our Workiz CRM, ensuring smooth data flow and process automation.
• Implement AI logic to manage technical availability, schedule appointments, enforce cancellation policies, and reschedule parts installation using dynamic Workiz data.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in voice orchestration tools such as Retell AI or Vapi.
• Experience with premium Text-to-Speech technologies like ElevenLabs or Cartesia.
• Familiarity with LLM architectures, specifically OpenAI API (GPT-4o) or Anthropic Claude.
• Expertise in CRM integration through custom REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions like n8n or Make.com.

• Strong backend coding skills to enhance AI automation.
• Experience in AI voice agent development or similar roles.
