Project: AI Mental Health Platform (Proustify)

Overview:

Proustify is an early-stage mental health tech startup focused on AI-powered journaling, emotion analysis, and clinical support tools. We’re looking for an AI engineer who can help fine-tune and integrate LLMs for voice annotation, emotion tracking, and therapist-facing recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Fine-tune LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek) on mental health-specific data (CBT, DBT, DSM-5 patterns)
• Build and test voice-to-text and text summarization flows for patient journaling
• Design emotion detection, pattern recognition, and progress mapping models from journal entries
• Support therapist dashboard logic (e.g., generating exposure therapy suggestions, detecting depressive/anxious spikes)
• Assist in building a rule-based and AI hybrid intake engine for patient-therapist matching

Qualifications:

• Background in machine learning, natural language processing, and fine-tuning LLMs
• Experience working with APIs like OpenAI, Whisper, or Speechly
• Familiarity with mental health applications, journaling tools, or clinical psychology is a big plus
• Bonus: Experience working with Chinese AI models or bilingual systems
