About the Company
Ageiro is a global autonomous-AI software company (US, UK, Africa, Europe, APAC) building one of the most advanced AI-driven development environments in the world. The AI platform handles architecture, coding, documentation, testing, and deployment, while humans supervise and quality-assure multiple AI agents. This role offers rare exposure to cutting-edge autonomous AI workflows.
Role Overview
We are hiring AI Development Supervisors to guide and manage 4–8 autonomous AI software agents. You won’t write code yourself; instead, you’ll keep agents on task, review their output, ask critical questions, and bring projects to completion.
Ideal candidates understand software development well and enjoy problem-solving, judgement, and working with AI systems rather than hands-on coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage 4–8 AI development agents in a secure, self-contained environment.
- Review AI-generated code, architecture, documentation, and feature implementations.
- Question and challenge AI decisions, guiding agents toward better solutions.
- Monitor productivity, ensure progress across tickets, and drive tasks to completion.
- Identify issues and direct the AI to improve or correct work.
- Apply technical judgement during architecture reviews, design decisions, and bug investigations.
- Work in a VNC-based remote Linux environment where the AI handles all infrastructure and deployment tasks.
- Track progress via Kanban and adapt to extremely fast development cycles.
- Collaborate asynchronously; meetings are minimal and only as needed.
What This Role Is Not
- No coding yourself.
- No standups or traditional engineering ceremonies.
- No manual DevOps, database, or debugging tasks (AI handles these).
- No requirement for niche frameworks or deep specialist stacks.
Qualifications
Required
- 4–10 years of general software development experience (JavaScript full-stack preferred; Java/C#/Python also welcome).
- Strong understanding of SDLC and ability to reason about code.
- Enthusiasm for AI-native development tools.
- Broad familiarity with frontend, backend, and databases.
- Comfortable working with LLMs (prompting, reviewing outputs, directing agents).
- Prior use of tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Strong critical thinking and technical judgement.
- Experience working on software projects from start to finish
Nice to Have
- Experience managing developers or teams.
- Familiarity with VNC, Linux, or remote dev setups.
Work Environment
- Fully remote with no required timezone overlap.
- Daily work is primarily with AI agents; human meetings are occasional.
- All work occurs inside a sealed environment where the AI has full access to tools, repos, databases, and deployments.
