Role Overview
Join us in building AiPEX University, a cutting-edge demonstration platform designed to showcase AI agents throughout the student lifecycle in U.S. higher education. Our platform aims to provide compelling showcases for enrollment management professionals, covering admissions, advising, financial aid, and student success. This is a prototype-focused role, emphasizing the creation of functional demonstrations rather than production systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop new agent workflows in n8n, utilizing complex workflows with AI/Tool nodes, HTTP requests, webhook triggers, and conditional logic.
- Create and manage data generation scripts using Python, including PDF creation and API integrations.
- Implement agentic AI patterns, focusing on tool-calling architectures, RAG implementations, and prompt engineering.
- Contribute to frontend development using Next.js to enhance agent interfaces.
- Set up and manage Supabase schemas, embeddings, and vector search functions.
- Engage in prompt engineering to refine agent behavior and ensure reliable tool use.
- Test and document agent capabilities, ensuring alignment with realistic scenarios.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in n8n Development with experience in building intricate workflows.
- Strong Python Development skills for data generation and API integration.
- Understanding of Agentic AI Patterns and managing AI agent behavior.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Supabase and vector embedding workflows.
- Familiarity with Next.js or React frontend development.
- Experience with Claude API or similar LLM integrations.
- Knowledge of higher education data systems, such as transcripts and degree requirements.
- Skills in synthetic data generation and video production for demo walkthroughs.
- Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
