About VRRB Labs
VRRB combines a computationally inexpensive, with a collision probability of 1/∞, mining/consensus algorithm called Proof of Claim, such that anyone with a modern computer (including a laptop) can participate in mining blocks and validating transactions. By layering Long-Lived Masternode Quorum driven chain-locking, VRRB reduces the barrier to entry to run a full node and earn rewards while enhancing, attack and fault tolerance. VRRB provides significant incentives for running a node with variable random rewards, VRRB aims to become the most decentralized network available.
What VRRB Labs is building
Proof of Claim is a new, innovative, computationally lightweight block mining and consensus algorithm. Proof of Claim allows for fast, decentralized, fair validation of transactions and block mining. Due to the lightweight nature of the algorithm, launching and running a node does not require a significant upfront investment for equipment or for coins to stake. Proof of Claim is synchrony agnostic. In otherwords PoC can be implemented in an asynchronous fashion.
