We are a marketing firm based out of New Jersey, United States that relies on data driven marketing approaches to businesses and municipalties.

What TIPS Marketing Services is building
SavingsSites provides discounted coupons to restaurants and contractors which in turn give to local nonprofits. Residents and visitors choose which nonprofit benefits from each deal they participate in.
We are building a React app, with by a CodeIgniter 4 PHP backend, using MySQL as our database, on top of Docker/Kubernetes. We are using Ubuntu VM's on top of VMware 7 to run Kubernetes in our datacenter. We use DataDog for observability of the application and hosts, GitHub and GitHub actions for CI/CD, and DockerHub for container image hosting.
About the engineering team
An average day is implementing business requirements provided by email/skype, with some commentary at the end of the day what was accomplished (e.g. Loom/Skype/Email).
We don't have recurring meetings, rather we stay in tight communication through email and skype.
The Engineering team is currently a 5 man global team - a project manager (New York), DevOps engineer (Armenia), Network Engineer (United Arab Emirates), and 2 PHP/MySQL developers (India). We are looking for a senior React Developer with PHP/MySQL knowledge.
The interview process is a take home project that tests code cleanliness and the ability to deliver a small proof of concept project that can be expanded upon if the offer is extended.
