About Solid Starts
Solid Starts is a website/database-based organization built around the premise of introducing real food to babies starting at 6 months old.
What Solid Starts is building
Established in 2019, the Solid Starts database will house every kind of food on the planet when complete and advocates for a form of baby-led weaning, skipping purees, and going straight for finger foods that baby can pick up and bring to their mouth. The Solid Starts team comprises double-board certified pediatricians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, registered pediatric dietitians, nutritionists, and lactation consultants.
