### Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **SEO Specialist** to join our team as a full-time contractor. You will be responsible for managing the complete SEO lifecycle for various clients, executing tasks from keyword research and technical optimizations to content strategy and website management. This role involves driving significant growth in organic search performance and managing Google Business Profiles, all while operating independently within our established SOP framework.

#### Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to inform content and optimization strategies.
- Set up and manage analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager.
- Optimize on-page content for service pages, location pages, and more, focusing on titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking.
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement necessary fixes.
- Develop and maintain content calendars.
- Collaborate with content writers to produce engaging blog posts.
- Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles effectively.
- Build citations and directory listings using industry-standard tools.
- Report on SEO performance by tracking rankings, traffic, and GBP trends, and provide actionable insights.

#### Website Management

- Update client websites with new services, team member additions, pricing changes, and other content.
- Maintain WordPress core updates and plugins.
- Work confidently with WordPress page builders like Elementor or Kadence.

#### Project Management

- Manage tasks and assignments using Asana.
- Ensure all tasks are current and accurately reflect work status.

#### Required Skills

- 3-4 years of SEO experience with a strong understanding of local SEO.
- Proven experience managing work across multiple websites simultaneously.
- Proficiency in analytics platforms and SEO tools.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- High attention to detail.
