## Role Overview
Join our dynamic seed-stage startup as a **Senior Graphic Designer**. We are addressing the challenges of the attention economy and information crisis by developing a unique consumer social product that captures the "content side" of users, including podcasts, books, music, videos, and ideas. Our mission is to improve how people discover, share, and connect over their consumed content. As part of our close-knit team, you'll work directly with the founder and product design lead to craft high-quality visual designs that resonate with designers, creatives, and tastemakers.

## Responsibilities
*   Lead the visual design process from concept to final asset creation, ensuring each project meets high aesthetic standards.
*   Drive design projects across various platforms, including social content, campaigns, App Store assets, website visuals, emails, ads, and in-product experiences.
*   Develop engaging product experiences, such as rich templates and feature explainers, that captivate users.
*   Experiment with multiple design directions for each brief and provide clear rationale for your choices.
*   Create scalable design systems, including templates and reusable patterns, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
*   Consider motion and animation in your designs to enhance the user experience, without needing to animate directly.
*   Offer guidance and mentorship to a junior graphic designer and motion designer, fostering their growth through collaboration.

## Required Skills
*   Expertise in visual design, including typography, hierarchy, composition, and brand aesthetics.
*   Ability to transform vague objectives into clear, compelling visual directions and execute them to completion.
*   Strong understanding of consumer products and the elements that contribute to delightful user experiences.
*   Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly and asynchronously.
*   Capacity to work swiftly without compromising quality, adapting to the fast-paced startup environment.
*   Proactive problem-solving skills, demonstrated by asking insightful questions or making informed decisions when faced with ambiguity.

## Nice to Have
*   Experience working in a startup or similar fast-paced environment.
*   Familiarity with the latest design trends and tools.
