#### About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with expertise in Next.js v15 to help build a user-friendly and secure dashboard for our platform. The ideal candidate has deep experience with React and component development, can work effectively from mockups, and is comfortable making product decisions in a fast-moving startup environment.

This role will start as a part-time contract position (20 hours per week), with the potential for increased hours or full-time conversion based on performance. You’ll work closely with the technical co-founder, who is currently managing front-end development but needs immediate support.

#### Required Skills

- Strong expertise in Next.js v15, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Advanced React skills, including component development and state management
- Ability to translate mockups into high-quality, responsive UIs
- Experience working in early-stage startups and successful companies
- Experience with build tools, package managers, and code linting
- Awareness of front-end security best practices
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute to product decisions

#### Nice to Have Skills

- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, and front-end performance optimization
- Experience with payment systems or fintech platforms
- Experience consuming and/or developing APIs
- Experience with StoryBook or other style guide tools
- Background in secure coding practices for front-end development

#### Additional Information

- Hiring Process: Candidates will go through a technical interview, with a strong focus on Next.js v15 expertise. Background checks will be required for PCI compliance.
- Engagement Model: Initial contract at 20 hours/week for the next 6 months, with the potential for increased hours or full-time conversion.
- Time Zone Preference: Preference for candidates in South America to align with US Pacific/Mountain time zones.
