Why This Role Is Unique

Niche mastery required – You’ve already designed for life sciences, regulatory ops, or clinical systems. You know the difference between an eCTD and an IND. You’ve talked to RA leads, CMC experts, or quality directors.

Real AI, not fluff – Our product surfaces AI-driven insights (e.g. submission health, HA pattern recognition, content reuse) that must be explainable, auditable, and user-friendly. You’ll define how cutting-edge capabilities meet usability and compliance.

Strategic impact – This isn’t a pixel-pushing role. You’ll own UX end-to-end, influencing product strategy, user research, interface architecture, and cross-functional execution.

What You’ll Lead

• UX design across features used by regulatory, CMC, and quality teams, including:
• Submission lifecycle planning
• Variation & impact management
• Health authority interactions
• Audit trail & compliance-sensitive UIs
• Partner with PMs, engineers, and domain experts to build deeply informed, elegant workflows
• Translate AI output into usable, explainable, actionable UI patterns
• Run lean user research with scientific, regulatory, and QA personas
• Build and evolve a design system that balances power and simplicity

You Bring

• 5+ years of UX/product design in complex enterprise SaaS
• Direct experience in pharma or biotech, especially:
• Regulatory Affairs (RIM, eCTD, IDMP, HA correspondence)
• Quality (QMS, GxP, validation)
• Clinical (eTMF, CTMS, PV)
• A portfolio that shows elegant solutions for complex, high-trust workflows
• Deep respect for compliance, traceability, and user mental models
• Passion for human-centered design in data-heavy, high-stakes environments

Extra Awesome If You Have

• Designed UX for platforms like Veeva Vault, Ennov, MasterControl, ArisGlobal, or similar
• Worked with AI-driven features (especially around explainability, predictive confidence, or workflow automation)
• Experience building design systems for regulated or validated environments
• Background in life sciences, cognitive science, or HCI
