About The Role

The Sr. Principal Software Engineer at Siemens plays a pivotal role in defining and driving the technical direction of complex systems that blend cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and hardware interaction. Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems and real-time applications

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Go, or Java
• Deep understanding of system design, performance optimization, and fault-tolerance
• Experience bridging machine learning research and production environments (preferred)
• Background in building systems that operate in or interact with the physical world (preferred)
• Ability to influence engineering organizations and contribute to hiring and culture (preferred)
• Track record of mentoring senior and staff-level engineers (preferred)

Responsibilities
