A Bit About You
WeatherBug is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Manager, Growth Marketing to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in scaling our user acquisition, engagement and revenue growth, requiring a blend of hands-on execution, strategic thinking, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will be a proactive partner manager and a data-driven analyst with a proven track record of managing and optimizing paid digital campaigns to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
You will lead:
Strategy and Execution (20%): Develop, implement, and manage a robust performance marketing strategy for our B2C business focused on driving user growth and revenue and our B2B business, focused on generating advertising client leads. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of paid campaigns and organic channel activation across various digital channels, including:
Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
Display and Programmatic Advertising
OLV and CTV
App Store Optimization (ASO)
Affiliate and partner marketing initiatives
Media Partner Management (10%): Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for external media partners. You will manage these relationships, vet new partners, and ensure flawless execution of campaigns
Analytics & Attribution (10%): Own the tracking, linking, and attribution strategy for all paid and organic campaigns. You'll be responsible for the full utilization of our Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP), Kochava, to evaluate campaign performance and improve our understanding of marketing ROI. You will also explore and evaluate alternative or complementary solutions as needed
Reporting & Optimization (10%): Create weekly marketing channel reports that identify trends, insights, and opportunities for channel and creative performance. You'll continuously optimize campaigns based on key KPIs such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Conversion Rates
Test & Learn Ownership (20%): You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining a test and learn library, and carrying our learnings across channels and activations in meaningful ways. You'll also partner with the Senior Manager, Marketing Activation to brief in new creative assets and manage trafficking assets to media partners. You will also create and manage a testing roadmap for different channels, audience groups, and creative messages to continuously improve performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%): Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure marketing excellence. This includes working with:
Engineering: To ensure appropriate implementation of events, tracking, and conversions
Business Intelligence: To ensure channel data, budget, and events are accurately represented in business intelligence reports
Product: To capture product marketing updates and content for use in ASO strategies and other marketing initiatives
Marketing: To collaborate on the development of creative assets and share audience and media performance insights
New Channel Expansion (15%): Explore and stand-up new revenue-generating channels, including an affiliate marketing program
