Marketing team at Upstream is looking forward to add an Analytics Manager in team’s amazing growth and transformational phase! The individual will hold the keys to the kingdom of translating complex data into meaningful and actionable insights. This involves determining key performance indicators, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting on campaign success. The marketing team under new leadership is at the zone to bring offline and online singular marketing strategies, and this team member will be part of this amazing journey providing tracking and insights.
The individual will have balance of technical and insights capabilities with succinct articulation of complex process. Knowledge of tableau at advanced level of report building and some knowledge of SQL query building, excel and power point is a must have skill set. Proficiency in collecting, aggregating and analyzing large data sets.
Building from the technical capabilities, the individual should be able to create insights, maintain reporting for key performance indicators, campaign analysis and build basic statistical model for ad hoc analysis. An interest and keen eye on big picture of business while working with all of details on data is critical for this role. Individual should be able to understand business problem and think through the process and ways to come with analysis. Ability to be challenged and challenge team members with thoughtful questions around vision is great feather to have. Individual should be organized and efficient.
The candidate should have great communication skill to explain the ‘What’ ‘Why’ and ‘Now What’ of the business.
Key Skill Set Qualifications:
. Proficiency in Tableau report building and SQL familiarity
. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to write macro and VBA familiarity is plus)
. Familiarity with causal analysis, factor analysis, multi touch attribution and market mix model methodologies
. Ability to automate the daily/weekly/monthly report process
. Ability to partner with data engineering and BI teams to run workflows, requirements and project roadmap to ensure consistent data availability, data quality and data accessibility
. Ability to create analytics to generate insights and practical recommendations for senior executive members
. Collaborative personality working across various departments
. Independent thinker and self-starter to create value

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
3 to 5 Years data science/analytics
Tableau, SQL Coding, Power Query, Power Point Presentation, Microsoft Excel
5 to 7 Years of experience preferably in consulting or media companies Industry experience (CPG |Retail Healthcare)
