About This Role
As the Head of Sales Engineering at Trustmi, you'll play a critical role in accelerating growth by leading the technical sales strategy that showcases the unique power of our cybersecurity platform. Trustmi is on a mission to eliminate socially engineered fraud across the entire business payment process—email, apps, and ERP—using behavioral AI and real-time validation.
You'll own the pre-sales technical vision, guide enterprise customers through complex buying journeys, and work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing to refine our go-to-market motion. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct impact on revenue, customer success, and market expansion.
We're looking for a leader who can scale a high-performing sales engineering team, build repeatable technical playbooks, and translate sophisticated cybersecurity capabilities into clear business outcomes for CISOs, CFOs, and other executive buyers.
Responsibilities
Develop and Scale Technical Sales Strategy
Build and refine Trustmi's technical sales framework, including POV (Proof of Value) methodology and review processes
Establish repeatable systems, playbooks, and assets to onboard new SEs efficiently and enhance team-wide effectiveness
Operational Excellence
Partner with Revenue Operations to improve CRM visibility and reporting for POVs and technical sales stages
Drive day-to-day execution across the SE team, including 1:1s, coaching, process adherence, and timely support of sales initiatives
Team Leadership and Development
Hire, develop, and retain top-tier Sales Engineers
Conduct regular assessments of technical and soft skills to ensure team members can deliver high-impact pre-sales engagements
Foster a high-performance culture while mentoring SEs to grow their careers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a key liaison between Sales, Product, and Marketing to relay customer feedback, influence roadmap decisions, and refine positioning
Partner with Sales leadership to optimize the technical sales process and drive deal velocity
Customer Engagement and Execution
Operate in a player/coach capacity—supporting strategic deals through tailored product demos, POV execution, and solution storytelling
Ensure the SE team delivers consistent value across all sales campaigns—including competitive differentiation, value-based presentation materials, and credible technical validation
