About The Team The Design team is a close-knit group of about 40 members with a passion for empowering students. The College Board is looking for an entrepreneurial, Senior UX/UI Designer to help build the future of our Bluebook ecosystem. The designer in this role will partner with the design lead and work in close collaboration with product owners, ensuring that our visions and strategies are perfectly aligned. In addition to the product owners, our design team maintains a synergistic relationship with the content, technology, and accessibility teams. This collaboration is central to our workflow, enabling us to create solutions that are not only technologically advanced but also rich in content and user experience.
About The Opportunity As our Senior UX/UI Designer, you'll work closely with our design team, product leads, and engineering partners to develop creative solutions that meet business goals and user needs. You'll have the opportunity to learn about our global design system and contribute to its growth. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a consistent Bluebook brand across various channels, helping us reach our audience effectively.
You are highly skilled, motivated, and passionate about visual design, UX, and research. You embrace collaboration while maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit, and you respect and value your project partners. Through research and discovery, you stay informed about your end users and leverage data to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall product quality.
In this role, you will:
Support Design, Research, and Implementation (60%)
Contribute to Product Design Strategy and Stakeholder Communication (30%)
Self-manage projects and timelines efficiently (10%)

The hiring range for a new employee in this position is $90,000 to $119,000. College Board differentiates salaries by location so where you live will narrow the portion of this range in which you can expect a salary.
Your salary will be carefully determined based on your location, relevant experience, the external labor market, and the pay of College Board employees in similar roles. College Board strives to provide our best offer up front based on this criteria.
