Software Engineer (GenAI) - Finland, remote - SUPO cleared requirement

Our Finnish client is combining cutting-edge technology to design and build applied Generative AI solutions for their clients, and they're looking to expand their team.

You will have the opportunity to work on a critical governmental project, which you will then lead coming into the spring.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in a collaborative team.
• Develop innovative ML and Generative AI solutions to solve complex, cross-industry challenges.
• Design scalable ML engineering solutions, focusing on generative AI.
• Integrate industry-standard APIs (Swagger, OpenAPI, GraphQL) following best practices.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Apply engineering techniques to fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for targeted improvements.
• Experiment with emerging tech, develop prototypes and contribute to the R&D of new ML and Generative AI tools.
• Stay current with AI advancements to ensure our projects remain cutting-edge.

Requirements

• Proficient programming skills in Typescript, Python/Go.
• Have a solid understanding of software engineering practices e.g. test methodology, code reviews and version control systems.
• Experience in web programming languages like React/NodeJS/NextJS.
• Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge/experience trying AI techniques e.g. implementing GenAI/LLMs to systems.
• Motivated by continuous learning in the field of Generative AI.
• Due to the nature of this role it's a must-have requirement to be SUPO cleared.
