The Basics:
We are looking to bring on a Director of Product Marketing Manager to lead the messaging for the Threat Hunting solution area. This will require someone who is able to effectively communicate to our field and customers why they need threat hunting, how it works, and why other existing solutions in the market are inadequate tools for this need. The ideal person in this role has a unique background that has led them to this particular junction. You will need to be highly knowledgeable in this domain in order to have the credibility needed for internal alignment and external buy-in.
What you'll do:
Be able to clearly talk about threat hunting and what it really is both in public and on paper
Create presentations based on presentation best practices
Create persuasive written content
Be organized and deliver what you say you will deliver when you say you will do it and work well with others to produce it
Deliver sales enablement training on a scheduled basis as product updates are released
Working with Threat Hunting Product Management to be in lockstep with releases and deliver the updates and messaging to the field
Educate the field on why organizations need threat hunting
Creation of content for social media
Work with Analyst Relations for messaging updates with industry analysts
Attend events and represent Tanium Threat Hunting
Stay updated on the competitive landscape and educate the field on Tanium’s positioning
Produce sales plays for the field
Work with Marketing Ops for leading indicators that customers are ready for a solution to build the ideal customer profile
We're looking for someone with:
Experience in the cybersecurity industry in areas relevant to endpoint, incident response, and threat hunting. Hands on technical experience preferred
Experience in Incident Response, Forensic investigations, and/or SIEM is a strong plus
Technical acumen is required
Can communicate to the needs of the C-suite and security practitioners and deliver that messaging to our sellers
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and SharePoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to build cross functional relationships and work with a variety of teams
Self-directed and able to work without supervision
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Has verbal and written creativity skills that are itching to be used more
Sales engineering experience is a plus
Public speaking experience is a plus
Blog content examples are a plus
