Software Engineer III
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension based on project and budget)
Pay Rate: $90-$100/hr on W2
About the Role:
- We are seeking a Software Engineer III to join the AI Research Group and support data mitigation initiatives across large-scale datasets (image, video, text). The goal is to proactively identify and address potential risks associated with AI research datasets.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, full-stack development experience, and hands-on exposure to AI-related tools and large data processing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data mitigation tasks: pre-processing, executing mitigation pipelines, and post-processing.
- Identify optimization opportunities and improve existing processes.
- Implement both front-end (React) and back-end (Python or PHP) components for new features.
- Develop logical and physical database descriptions and coordinate with others for implementation.
- Collaborate in project meetings to determine development scope, requirements, and limitations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–4 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with data management, including SQL and large data processing.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background in AI tools or research.
- Experience with data processing, cleaning, transformation, and validation.
- Familiarity with React (frontend) and PHP (backend) development.
Interview Process:
- 1–2 rounds (combination of technical codepad and behavioral interview)
- Duration: Approximately 45 minutes
