About Our Client

Our client believes great events don’t just happen — they inspire, connect, and deliver results.

About The Role

Our client is looking for a Director, Events Marketing to lead the strategy and execution of its commercial and corporate event programs — from national trade shows and industry conferences to unforgettable internal experiences that bring teams together.

In this role, the individual will own the end-to-end events strategy that fuels brand awareness, deepens engagement, and directly contributes to pipeline development and revenue growth. This person will work closely with demand generation, product marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure every event drives measurable business impact — not just great experiences.

If you love turning creative ideas into strategic outcomes and building experiences that move people and the business forward, this is your next big stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the event strategy: Build a 12 to 18-month roadmap that advances brand, engagement, and pipeline goals.

  • Drive revenue impact: Partner with demand generation and sales to design events that attract qualified leads, accelerate deal cycles, and expand customer relationships.

  • Run the full calendar: Oversee all owned, earned, and sponsored events with clear objectives, budgets, and ROI targets.

  • Bring events to life: Plan and execute conferences, field events, and internal gatherings — managing logistics, vendors, creative, and on-site execution.

  • Measure what matters: Define KPIs, track performance, and run post-event retros to optimize pipeline contribution and overall impact.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with marketing, comms, HR, and sales to align event strategies with business priorities and go-to-market initiatives.

  • Lead high-impact experiences: Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure every program delivers meaningful engagement and measurable ROI.

  • Create moments that matter: Partner with internal teams to produce culture and company-wide events that build connection and pride.

About You

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who knows how to create events that don’t just look great — they perform. This individual thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments and balances creativity with precision. They are passionate about using events as a growth engine and love seeing the data back it up. Additional qualifications include:

  • 15+ years of event marketing experience within B2B tech or healthcare industries
  • Proven success leading large-scale events (200–1,000+ attendees) that generated leads and influenced pipeline
  • Deep understanding of event marketing strategy, execution, and performance measurement — across in-person, hybrid, and virtual formats
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience partnering closely with sales and demand gen to align on pipeline goals
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Cvent, and event management platforms
  • Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with a creative approach to solving problems and optimizing results
  • Willingness to travel regularly

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in the health/tech or employer benefits space
  • A passion for data-driven storytelling and brand-building through experiential marketing
