Contract: 6–8 Months | Work Type: Remote | Location: Costa Rica

Are you a Senior Back-End Engineer passionate about building scalable, data-driven, and cloud-native systems? We’re looking for a Python or Java expert to join our global engineering team and help power next-generation AI and data solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build robust, scalable back-end services using Python (Django/Flask) or Java (Spring Boot).
• Develop REST APIs & microservices for large-scale, data-intensive applications.
• Deploy and optimize services on AWS (Lambda, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, SQS).
• Build ETL pipelines and contribute to data workflows using Spark, Pandas, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate across Data Science, DevOps, and Front-End teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Ensure code quality, testing, and CI/CD excellence with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.

What We’re Looking For

• 7–8 years of experience as a Back-End or Software Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Python or Java, and AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL, data processing, and container orchestration.
• Solid foundation in software design, algorithms, and performance optimization.
• Experience with AI/ML model deployment or data engineering workflows is a plus.
• Familiarity with front-end integration (React or Angular) is a bonus.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Background in large-scale enterprise projects or consulting environments.
