About the Role
Semarchy is looking for an experienced Marketing Content Manager to join our team The Content Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive content strategy. Their focus will be supporting the prospects buyer’s journey, providing a portfolio of assets to inform, educate, and entice. They should be comfortable finding creative ways of developing assets, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy. Content is defined as multimedia articles, blog posts, Web copy, images or videos that aid in fostering engagement. Additionally, this role will manage our US PR agency to drive brand awareness and thought leadership in our key US markets.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with the campaign team to define assets to be developed.
Supervise the development of asset portfolio, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Manage content budget to optimize spending.
Overseeing plan for the most efficient and effective development of asset portfolio. Manage content budget optimizing spend
Managing a virtual content team consisting of writers, graphic designers, videographers, etc.
Writing, editing and proofreading content
Formulating a cross-platform content strategy
Collaborate with SEO agency to ensure our Content and Search strategies are aligned to drive performance
Understand key SEO tactics to drive Search performance; building acquisition and conversions on page.
Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members
Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels
Partner with Product and Sales stakeholders to translate complex product information into language suitable for our target audience.
Work closely with an SEO agency to align content and search strategies for enhanced performance.
Implement key SEO tactics to improve search performance and drive acquisition and conversions on-page.
Must Have
5+ years of experience planning, executing and optimizing B2B technology demand generation and enterprise marketing programs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Project management skills; utilizing internal tools and experience to coordinate dynamic teams to achieve core business results
Experience in SEO, with a deep understanding of how content and search strategies intersect and complement each other
Experience in B2B marketing for fast growing technology and software companies.
Strong at business partnering. You engage with and value partnering closely with cross-functional teams including: Sales, Operations, Product and the broader marketing organization
CRO: driving optimization results for demand generation objectives
Comfortable working for global organizations, managing multiple projects and deadlines across time zones and teams
Superior project timeline development and management skills; project management tools experience
Strategic problem solving skills with the ability to diagnose and solve challenges leveraging data and testing
Seasoned at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
Proficient in Google docs, slides, sheets or equivalent (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Proficient with CMS (Wordpress), CRM / Marketing Automation (Hubspot/Salesforce), SEO
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated progressive experience in channel programs.
Great project & program management skills, ability to leverage, manage & lead virtual teams
Strong writing and editing skills
Proficient in leveraging online analytics to assess effectiveness of content
Ability to come up with creative ideas
Detailed knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO
CMS and Wordpress experience is desired for publishing on-page content.
