Remote position within Argentina & Uruguay only. Short term assignment

RYZ is looking for a PHP Software Developer to join one of our clients, a startup building products to transform the trading card industry. While they are a small team building new products from the ground up they have exclusive licensing deals with the MLB, NFL, and NBA. They are out to reinvent the trading card industry.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement new features.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.

Basic Requirements:

- 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.

- Strong proficiency in PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).

- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves:

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
