Hybrid Designer–Developer role
Fully remote position
3 month contract to hire, 40 hours a week
Target salary: 75-95K
Hourly Rate: 36- 45/hr
Overview:
We’re looking for a versatile Designer/Developer who thrives at the intersection of visual storytelling and front-end technology for a cutting edge analytics company. This hybrid role bridges creative design, data visualization, and responsive web development—ideal for someone who can take a concept from layout to launch across digital and print platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive, accessible web interfaces and interactive presentations that align with brand standards.
- Translate complex data sets into intuitive visual stories across PowerPoint, dashboards, and digital experiences.
- Build and maintain modular front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript—ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive performance.
- Experience with at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or similar).
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and business stakeholders to produce high-impact visual assets for marketing, data, and sales initiatives.
- Manage code within a DevOps pipeline (branching, merging, pull/push requests) to support an agile development process.
- Create production-ready layouts for print, presentation, and digital formats.
- Design and produce long-form print and digital publications including annual reports, newsletters, whitepapers, and brochures—maintaining a high standard of layout, typography, and brand consistency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end development best practices.
- Experience with at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or similar).
- Strong eye for typography, layout, and brand consistency across media.
- Proven experience in PowerPoint design and data visualization.
- Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser testing, and UI optimization.
- Experience working within DevOps pipelines or Git-based workflows.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with Tableau, Veeva CLM, or app development environments.
- Background in motion graphics, interactivity, or UX/UI design.
- Understanding of analytics dashboards or data-driven creative assets.
