About the Opportunity:
The organization provides cloud, software platforms, systems, and services to support communications service providers in streamlining operations and enhancing subscriber experiences. This opportunity seeks an AI Agent Development Engineer to design and implement intelligent, autonomous agents that improve workflows and customer experiences through advanced AI technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deploy AI agents capable of perception, reasoning, and autonomous action.
• Integrate agents with external systems using REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Apply best practices for performance, scalability, and security in multi-agent environments.
• Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to align agent capabilities with business needs.
• Explore emerging technologies in Generative AI, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent frameworks.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of software development experience with exposure to AI/ML projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• Experience developing AI agents using frameworks such as Google ADK, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, or Python (PL/SQL or Java experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with LLM integration, prompt engineering, and orchestration of multi-agent workflows.
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Understanding of Generative AI, NLP, and reinforcement learning concepts.
• Experience building custom AI agents for enterprise workflows.
• Experience with agent lifecycle management and AI profiles for model selection and orchestration.
• Exposure to multi-agent collaboration and autonomous decision-making systems.

Compensation:
• The base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
• San Francisco Bay Area: 156,400 to 265,700 USD annual
• All Other US Locations: 136,000 to 231,000 USD annual
• As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for a bonus.
