About the Opportunity:
The organization is seeking a project manager to oversee IT projects, ensuring successful delivery across schedule, cost, scope, and quality. This role involves managing project plans, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining project standards and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage project plans for schedule, cost, scope, and quality.
• Identify logical dependencies and critical paths, escalating key tasks as needed.
• Follow defined project methodology using standard SDLC templates.
• Communicate benefits of SDLC.
• Identify and mitigate variances to project plans.
• Document project risk and conduct risk reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop corrective actions when deliverables deviate from the plan.
• Track and record all expenses, including capital expenditures and labor costs.
• Develop communications plans with project sponsors, considering all stakeholders.
• Remain open to training in new skills and invest in self-development.
Requirements:
• 4 to 7 years of IT work experience, including 3 or more years managing projects.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies recommended.
• Related project management certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Basic understanding of Waterfall methodology, complex project management, analytical and problem-solving skills, and business software (Microsoft Office, Clarity, MS Project).
• Ability to engage with diverse perspectives, influence others, manage conflict, and work in a team.
• Highly adaptable to changing environments.
• Situational awareness to know when to listen and when to be assertive.
