52 Limited

How you fill your 52 weeks is your business. Helping you find your next opportunity is ours.

We're searching for a Founding Growth Designer for our client, a funded, early-stage AI technology startup transforming the home services industry. This is an opportunity for an exceptionally talented designer who combines outstanding visual taste, compelling copywriting, and a relentless drive to create digital experiences that convert.

You'll own the design and optimization of the customer acquisition funnel, from landing pages and website experiences to the messaging and interactions that turn visitors into customers. You'll concept, design, build, launch, test, and iterate quickly, using AI-powered development tools to bring your ideas to life.

We're looking for a designer first. Someone with an exceptional eye for detail, a portfolio of beautifully crafted consumer-facing experiences, and the curiosity and ambition to continuously make them better. If you obsess over every pixel, every headline, and every opportunity to improve the customer experience, we'd love to hear from you.

As Founding Growth Designer, you will:

* Own the creative direction, design, and optimization of consumer-facing landing pages, website experiences, and conversion funnels.
* Concept and execute visually compelling, high-performing digital experiences that balance exceptional design with measurable business results.
* Write persuasive headlines, messaging, calls to action, emails, and other customer-facing copy that drives engagement and conversion.
* Design, build, and launch landing pages independently using modern front-end technologies and AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
* Develop and execute A/B tests, experimenting with design, messaging, layout, and user experience to improve conversion rates.
* Analyze customer behavior, funnel performance, and test results to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with the founder, performance marketing, and engineering teams to align creative concepts with acquisition goals.
* Establish reusable design components and landing page systems that enable rapid experimentation and deployment.
* Move quickly from concept to production, continuously testing new ideas and refining what works.
* Champion exceptional design quality while helping a small, ambitious team move faster and execute at a high level.

You're a great fit if you have:

* An exceptional portfolio showcasing beautifully designed, consumer-facing websites and landing pages, with outstanding typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and attention to detail.
* Strong visual design skills and a demonstrated ability to create distinctive, polished digital experiences. Recognition from platforms such as Awwwards or similar design communities is a strong plus.
* Experience designing and optimizing landing pages, websites, or digital acquisition funnels for consumer brands, DTC businesses, or high-growth startups.
* Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to develop compelling messaging that connects with customers and drives action.
* Hands-on experience building and launching websites or landing pages, ideally using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
* A working understanding of front-end development and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.
* Familiarity with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and performance metrics, with an eagerness to experiment and learn.
* A strong sense of ownership, creative curiosity, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
* A bias toward action. You'd rather launch, learn, and iterate than spend weeks perfecting a presentation.

Even better if you have:

* Experience at an early-stage startup or in a founding design role.
* A background in DTC, e-commerce, consumer technology, marketplaces, or conversion-focused creative agencies.
* Award-winning or publicly recognized web design work.
* Experience creating reusable landing page systems and leveraging AI tools to accelerate design and development.
* Examples of design changes or experiments that produced measurable improvements in conversion.

The details:

* Location: Remote within the United States, with a preference for West Coast candidates and availability during Pacific Time business hours.
* Employment: Full-time.
* Team: Small, funded, early-stage startup working directly with the founder and cross-functional partners.
* Interview Process: Conversations with the founding team, followed by a paid, hands-on working session involving a real customer funnel and live design/build exercise. Finalists will meet the team in Portland, Oregon.

Portfolio Required: Please include a link to your portfolio featuring live websites or landing pages you've personally designed and built. We're especially interested in seeing exceptional visual craft, thoughtful copywriting, and examples of work that demonstrate your ability to move quickly from concept to launch.

We know great designers come from different backgrounds. If you're a talented, hands-on creative who loves building beautiful experiences, experimenting with new ideas, and seeing the impact of your work, we'd love to connect.
