Our client, a leading organization in the technology and open-source space, is looking for a Senior Marketing Generalist to join a collaborative, fully remote marketing team. This is a hands-on role supporting integrated campaigns, content, creative, digital marketing, events, and community-focused initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded marketer who can take a campaign from idea to execution - developing messaging, creating content and visual assets, coordinating across channels, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities to improve performance.

 

Experience working in technology, software, SaaS, developer marketing, open-source, or technical communities is especially valuable.

 

What You’ll Do

* Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, web, social, events, paid media, and organic channels.
* Turn marketing goals into clear messaging, content, creative assets, and campaign materials.
* Create and edit marketing assets using Canva, including graphics, presentations, promotional materials, and short-form video.
* Collaborate with writers, content creators, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to develop campaigns and supporting content.
* Manage marketing initiatives from planning through execution while balancing multiple priorities.
* Use HubSpot to monitor campaign performance, engagement, attribution, leads, and ROI.
* Analyze campaign data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
* Evaluate campaign and marketing spend performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
* Support email, digital, social, event, community, product, project, and program marketing initiatives.
* Incorporate AI-powered marketing tools into content creation, research, creative development, reporting, and campaign execution.
* Work independently while collaborating closely with a small, highly engaged marketing team.

 

What We’re Looking For

* 7–10+ years of marketing experience with a strong track record of hands-on campaign execution.
* Experience in a Marketing Generalist, Integrated Marketing, Omnichannel Marketing, or similar position.
* Demonstrated experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
* Strong Canva skills, including graphic design, presentations, promotional materials, and basic video editing.
* Hands-on experience with HubSpot, particularly campaign reporting, analytics, attribution, and performance measurement.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn marketing data into meaningful recommendations.
* Experience incorporating AI tools into marketing workflows.
* Excellent writing, editing, communication, organization, and project management skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fully remote environment.
* Comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution.

 

Nice to Have

* Experience marketing within an open-source software ecosystem.
* Experience marketing to developers, engineers, technical practitioners, or other technology-focused audiences.
* B2B technology, SaaS, software, cloud, enterprise technology, or developer marketing experience.
* Experience supporting open-source projects, developer programs, technical communities, foundations, industry consortiums, or ecosystem-driven initiatives.
* Community-focused or member-based marketing experience.
* Experience with Sprout Social or a similar social media management platform.
* Experience supporting technology events, conferences, technical programs, or developer communities.
