* Drive Quality: Write clean, maintainable code following strict configuration management and software QA standards.
* Collaborate & Lead: Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to vet architectures, review code, and deliver scalable, high-quality features.
* Hands-On Setup: Manage local and remote hardware configurations (workstations, displays, networking) as needed, with limited paid travel to company facilities.

What We’re Looking For

* Education: B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related technical discipline. (Degrees in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering with 5+ years of proven software deliverables will also be considered.)

* Core Technical Stack:

* Strong proficiency with C#, WPF, SQL, Visual Studio, and Git/GitLab.
* Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and performance optimization.
* Knowledge of networking fundamentals and distributed architecture.

* Regulatory Compliance: Must be eligible to work under U.S. Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 regulations.

Who You Are

* Analytical Thinker: Comfortable independently investigating bug reports and turning abstract requirements into working code.
* Strong Communicator: Skilled at discussing technical details with both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
* Quality & Safety Minded: Committed to rigorous software testing, continuous learning, and high standards of operational safety.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

* Ability to operate standard office equipment, communicate via phone/video, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
* Position involves sitting, standing, walking, and occasional hardware assembly (cabling, computer setups).
* Ability to travel nationally using standard commercial transit.
