About defi.com

defi.com is building a new kind of consumer financial platform, bringing together the ways people store, move, grow and spend money in one simple experience.

We are creating a more accessible way for consumers to use modern financial products across cash, cards, payments, crypto, trading, investing and yield, without the complexity traditionally associated with digital finance.

We are an early-stage, pre-revenue business preparing for international launch in October 2026. We have huge ambition: to build defi.com into a trusted global consumer financial brand and make open financial systems easier to understand, access and use.

 

The opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing / Marketing Lead to take ownership of how defi.com goes to market. You will determine who we target, what we say, how we reach them, how we convert them and how we turn defi.com into a distinctive global consumer brand.

This is not a role for someone who simply manages an existing marketing machine. You will help build it.

You will work directly with the CEO and senior team, with real authority over GTM strategy, positioning, product marketing, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, brand, agencies and marketing investment.

We are particularly interested in people who have already helped take an early-stage consumer brand or product from launch to significant measurable traction. You will need to be able to demonstrate this with clear evidence: customer growth, funded or active users, revenue, CAC improvement, conversion, successful campaigns, brand growth or other material commercial achievements.

 

What you will own

* Global GTM strategy across priority customers, markets and channels.
* The defi.com proposition, positioning and messaging across product, website, app, onboarding, CRM, social, advertising, partnerships and PR.
* Product marketing that turns complex financial products into clear, compelling consumer benefits.
* The complete customer journey from awareness and registration through KYC, funding, activation, repeat usage, cross-sell, referral and reactivation.
* Acquisition strategy across paid social, search, creators, affiliates, ambassadors, partnerships, referral, community, SEO, content and performance creative.
* Marketing economics including CAC, conversion, funded customers, active users, ARPU, retention, LTV, payback and channel ROI.
* Creative direction across website, advertising, social and video.
* Marketing agency and supplier strategy.
* The structure, capabilities and team (3 current team members) required to scale marketing internationally.

 

Who we are looking for

You are likely to have 5+ years of strong marketing experience within consumer fintech, neobanking, crypto, payments, investing, trading or another digital financial-services business.

 

We are particularly interested in experience with marketing stablecoin powered services

 

More important than your current title is what you have actually achieved, your ambition and passion to develop our incredible brand.

You should be able to show that you have personally helped create a proposition, launch a product or brand, acquire customers and turn marketing activity into measurable commercial growth.

You will combine strong product marketing and brand judgement with a detailed understanding of growth and performance marketing.

You should be commercially and analytically strong enough to interrogate funnels, cohorts, CAC, LTV, ARPU, conversion and marketing budgets yourself rather than relying entirely on an analytics team.

You will also be comfortable operating in an early-stage environment where priorities move quickly, resources need to be deployed carefully and you will be expected to get involved personally on execution.

Experience using AI tools to increase marketing productivity, creative output, analysis or campaign execution is essential. You must know how to use AI as a productivity multiplier without allowing it to dilute originality, judgement or brand quality. Generic AI-generated content is not acceptable.

 

If you're a marketing lead or marketing manager, or responsible for digital marketing within your business, and you find yourself producing amazing results but it's very difficult to progress in your current organisation, then we are the organisation for you.

Ultimately, this role is about moving defi.com from marketing activity to measurable commercial growth:

 

QUALIFIED USERS → FUNDED USERS → ACTIVE USERS → REVENUE → RETENTION → PROFITABLE GROWTH

 

Within your first month, we expect you to establish and validate clear priority customer segments and markets, sharpen the proposition, build a measurable acquisition and activation funnel, determine where marketing investment should go and identify quickly what we should stop, test, scale, outsource, hire and fund.

 

Working with us

You will report directly to the CEO, managing the existing marketing team output and working closely with Product, Growth, Design, Partnerships, Finance and our external agencies.
