WE’RE HIRING:

 

Manager of Marketing, Strategy & Relations — Music Platform

 

We’re looking for a Manager of Marketing, Strategy & Relations to join ROVR — someone who combines strategic thinking, hands-on digital experience, strong cultural understanding, and the ability to build meaningful relationships and partnerships.

 

This is a key role focused on growing ROVR’s reach while protecting what makes the platform unique. We’re looking for someone who understands how to expand an independent, culture-led brand without simply following mainstream marketing formulas or trends.

 

SCOPE OF WORK

 

MARKETING + GROWTH STRATEGY

 

Develop and execute strategies to increase ROVR’s reach and awareness, translating our philosophy and identity into sustainable growth across different platforms and audiences.

 

MULTI-PLATFORM GROWTH

 

Lead and develop our presence across Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube and other relevant platforms, understanding that each requires its own approach, audience and language.

 

BRAND + CULTURAL RELATIONS

 

Build and maintain relationships with brands, magazines, media, cultural organisations and creative partners that naturally align with ROVR’s philosophy and audience.

 

PARTNERSHIPS + SPONSORSHIP

 

Identify, approach and secure relevant sponsors and partners for ROVR’s events and other projects — always prioritising partnerships that make sense culturally for the brand.

 

CROSS-TEAM COORDINATION

 

Work closely with our marketing, creative, music, production and management teams, as well as external brands, partners and creatives, to turn strategy into execution.

 

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

 

APP + TECH STARTUP EXPERIENCE

 

Proven professional experience working within an app-based tech startup, with a strong understanding of the pace, flexibility and changing priorities that come with a growing company.

 

MUSIC, STYLE + CULTURE

 

A strong music culture and genuine understanding of the wider worlds surrounding it — including

 fashion, art, design, nightlife, media and beyond.

 

CULTURAL NETWORK

 

Existing relationships with brands, magazines, media and cultural partners that are relevant to ROVR’s world and philosophy.

 

STRATEGIC + HANDS-ON

 

Able to think strategically while also being comfortable getting involved in execution. This is not a role for someone who only delegates.

 

FAST

 

Works quickly, anticipates decisions and requirements ahead of time, sets clear deadlines, and knows how to keep projects moving.

 

ADAPTABLE + HARD-WORKING

 

Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly and new opportunities can emerge at short notice.

 

RELATIONSHIP-DRIVEN

 

A natural communicator who is comfortable working across different teams, personalities, brands and creative environments.
