Position Overview  
  
We are an executive marketing consultancy and fractional marketing agency that embeds directly with high-growth restaurants, consumer brands, and food & beverage concepts. We deliver end-to-end strategy and execution across social media, web, local SEO, content operations, email campaigns, paid media, and brand partnerships.  
  
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Marketing Operations Lead & Executive Assistant based in South Africa to serve as the founder's right-hand operator.  
  
In this dual-impact role, you will drive day-to-day digital marketing execution (content calendars, social media publishing, email marketing, client updates, basic graphic design, and Monday.com workflow management) while keeping the founder's operational world running smoothly (calendar management, travel logistics, meeting prep, and strict accountability).

Key Responsibilities  
  

*   Marketing Operations & Creative Content Traffic
*   Content Scheduling & Publishing: Build and maintain content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Google Business Profile (GBP). Write captions, format hashtags, pull creative assets, and publish via Meta Business Suite/Metricool.
*   Digital Asset Creation: Produce light marketing graphics, Reel covers, stories, menu updates, and one-sheets in Canva (or Adobe Creative Suite). Trim short-form video content in CapCut.
*   Email Marketing Campaigns: Manage email campaign execution in Klaviyo or Mailchimp, including list hygiene, audience segmentation, template setup, and basic automated sequences.
*   Website Updates: Perform lightweight content tweaks on Shopify, Wix, or WordPress (copy updates, landing page text, pop-ups, menu changes, and basic SEO meta fields).
*   Shoot & Campaign Coordination: Organize digital assets, prep shot lists, log incoming photo/video media from creators, and coordinate remote creator/influencer outreach.
*   Projects, Systems & Analytics Reporting
*   Monday.com Management: Run agency project boards, build task dependencies, update timelines, and maintain tracking dashboards.
*   EOS/Traction Alignment: Support internal agency meeting rhythms (prep Level 10 agendas, maintain weekly Scorecards, track Rocks, and log Issues).
*   Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external agencies, freelance creators, web developers, and media partners to keep projects moving forward on deadline.
*   Reporting & Analytics: Compile weekly KPI snapshots (growth metrics, engagement rates, email CTRs, reservation conversions, and UTM link tracking).
*   SOP Documentation: Document and maintain clean Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists to continuously optimize agency speed and quality.
*   Executive Support & Operations
*   Calendar & Inbox Management: Own complex executive calendars and triage inbox traffic; confirm, brief, and prepare meeting contexts and agendas.
*   Travel & Event Logistics: Coordinate complex multi-leg flights, lodging, local transit, and detailed digital travel itineraries or shoot call sheets.
*   Meeting Oversight: Draft agendas, record action-oriented meeting notes, log decisions in our project tool, and track deliverables to completion.
*   Client Communications: Draft, proofread, and format client-facing emails, proposals, and weekly progress reports in a clean, professional, and confident voice.

</strong>Candidate Profile & Qualifications  
  

*   Experience: 3 to 5+ years of combined experience as a Marketing Operations Lead, Marketing Coordinator/Manager, or Hybrid Executive Specialist.
*   Domain Exposure: Proven track record in digital marketing operations for consumer brands, DTC, hospitality, or marketing agencies.
*   Organized & Systematic: Elite organizational skills—you live in calendars, project management tools, and checklists, with a proven ability to close loops independently.
*   Tool Fluency:

*   Marketing Tools: Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, Shopify/Wix/WordPress, Mailchimp or Klaviyo, Canva (or Adobe basics), CapCut.
*   Operations & Systems: Google Workspace, Monday.com (or Asana/ClickUp), GA4/UTM tracking.

*   Communication: Exceptional native-level written and spoken English with strong business copywriting and proofreading skills.
*   Work Setup: Dedicated home office with reliable high-speed internet, power backup (UPS/inverter setup), and noise-canceling headset.  
    

<strong>Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

*   Familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) / Traction or Strategic Coach frameworks.
*   Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), UTM tracking parameters, and Meta pixel mechanics.
*   Short-form video editing chops (CapCut or Premiere Pro) for Reels/TikToks/Shorts.  
      
    

Engagement Structure  
  

*   Classification: Independent Contractor (W-8BEN executed for US tax compliance).
*   Compensation: Fixed monthly rate paid in USD, with performance bonus eligibility after 1 year.
