Senior Digital Marketing Strategist & Lead Executor (Remote)  
  
Position Overview  
  

*   Role Purpose: Transition our digital marketing apparatus completely in-house— building the high-level growth strategy, optimizing our Shopify ecosystem, and executing hands-on across PPC, SEO, and system integrations.
*   Employment Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor (Offshore)  
      
    

Why This Role Exists  
  
We are moving away from the traditional, external agency model to build an elite internal team of dedicated direct contractors. We are looking for a rare "Unicorn" Strategist & Doer who has potentially run their own boutique agency or served as the primary growth architect for a fast-scaling DTC/E-commerce brand.  
  
What this role IS NOT: This is not a high-level management role for a corporate Director who only looks at reports and manages freelancers. You will be the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME), the architect of our 3-to-6 month growth roadmap, and the actual executor pulling the levers daily. Note, role is an indefinite placement, so while your immediate focus is building out the roadmap, this is a long-term placement and we look forward to our hire growing with the company outside the initial ramp up period.  
  
Note: We know one person cannot carry a massive ecosystem forever. Once you assess our landscape and we identify your primary area of deficiency or bandwidth limits (e.g., if you are brilliant at PPC but weaker on deep technical SEO), we will look to bring on a second, specialized offshore support person to work directly with you.  
  
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work  
  

*   Growth Strategy & Omnichannel Execution
*   Roadmap Architecture: Build, maintain, and execute our comprehensive 3-, 6-, and 12-month digital growth plans, completely replacing our external agency's legacy marketing strategy.
*   Paid Acquisition (PPC): Own the hands-on management, optimization, budgeting, and performance tracking of our paid traffic channels to drive predictable revenue.
*   Organic Dominance (SEO & AEO): Maximize our organic search footprint using advanced toolsets (Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console). Optimize our content architecture not just for traditional search engines, but for modern Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to capture AI-driven traffic queries.
*   Data-Driven Copywriting: Write and deploy high-converting ad copy, landing page headlines, and digital marketing hooks that align with our brand's voice.
*   Shopify Ecosystem & Tech Stack Optimization
*   Shopify Administration (Required): Serve as the internal owner of our Shopify environment, ensuring product pages, tracking pixels, and backend settings are operating flawlessly.
*   Workflow Automation & Integrations: Connect and optimize our core digital stack—utilizing tools like Zapier, Klaviyo, and Pipedrive to build automated lead, customer retention, and data-sync pipelines.
*   Troubleshooting & Tools: Act as a technical troubleshooter. You should be highly comfortable using generative AI models (Claude, ChatGPT) to assist with tool configurations, patch basic bugs, and manage active marketing integrations.
*   Analytics & Workflow Autonomy
*   Performance Transparency: Move away from standard agency vanity metrics. Build clean, internal reporting dashboards that outline actual business KPIs, cost per acquisition (CPA), and customer lifetime value (LTV).
*   Self-Directed Execution: Manage your own daily workflow without micro-management. You will partner directly with executive leadership, translating abstract revenue targets into executed marketing workflows.  
      
    

Job Requirements  
  
<strong>Must-Have Qualifications  
  
</strong>

*   5-8+ Years of Search-Focused Marketing Experience: Proven success building and executing strategies across SEO, paid search, website lead generation, and conversion optimization.
*   Deep SEO, AEO, and GEO Expertise: Strong knowledge of search intent, technical SEO, content architecture, and optimization for traditional and AI-powered search.
*   Qualified Lead-Generation Experience: A track record of converting high-intent website traffic into qualified quote requests, sales opportunities, and revenue.
*   Google Ads Experience: Hands-on experience managing Google Search campaigns. You must understand how PPC works with SEO, landing pages, tracking, and CRO rather than being a PPC-only specialist.
*   Mandatory Shopify Expertise: Strong experience managing Shopify websites, landing pages, app integrations, tracking pixels, and conversion improvements.
*   The “Strategist + Doer” DNA: Able to audit the existing marketing ecosystem, build a 3-, 6-, and 12-month growth roadmap, and personally execute the campaigns and improvements.
*   Analytics and CRO Skills: Proficient in GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and related tools, with the ability to improve conversions and report on leads, acquisition costs, and revenue.
*   AI-Native Execution: Comfortable using ChatGPT or Claude to accelerate marketing work while applying independent strategic judgment.
*   Exclusion of Socials: This role focuses on search, websites, PPC, CRO, analytics, and lead generation, not social media management or general content creation.
*   Elite Professional English: Able to communicate strategies, technical findings, and performance results clearly to leadership.

*   Agency or Lead Growth Experience: Experience running a small agency, working in a senior agency role, or serving as the primary growth marketer for an e-commerce or DTC business.
*   Shopify Web Development Skills: Ability to perform light work involving Liquid, HTML/CSS, pixels, page speed, apps, or APIs.
