Role Overview 
 
We're looking for an energetic and proactive Game Designer to develop the battle mechanics of our new mid-core project. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 


* Taking part in a development of battle system
* Close work with Game Producers and Analysts - finding points of growth and developing new features
* Feature ownership - controlling the development of mechanics and features from conceptualization to launch, as well as post-release analysis
* Implementing new characters
* Implementing new battle modes
* Balancing the combat system and characters
* LiveOps in combat mechanics
* Close interaction with the project team 
 
 

Required Skills, Knowledge And Expertise 
 


* Work experience as a game designer on mid-core battler projects, RPG or 4x, including direct work with balancing combat systems and characters
* Experience of feature owning a complete cycle (from the concept document to post-release analytics)
* Good understanding of the mid-core market and its audience (battler, RPG, survival)
* Strong knowledge of balance calculation tools (Excel/Google Spreadsheet) with multiparametric formulas
* Basic skills in working with analytics (understanding key metrics, their interaction, and working with dashboards)
